I teach mindfulness as part of my relax and chill course the breathing technique has proved very useful in helping people to manage pain and anxiety. Other techniques really help them to manage pain and sleep better.

Hi Caroline,

Thank you for your comment. The paper looking directly at stress and lupus which I cite in my blog - this is a set price and can only be bought from the journal as linked. If you want a copy of my own review paper the price is set at £10.00 simply because it took me about 6 months of hard work to complete. I hope one day to be able to offer it for a free download but at the moment I don't have an income so I have chosen not to offer it for free. Watch this space, this may change over the next few weeks. Thank you, Best regards Ani

Hi Ani,
This I presume will make a good reading. As a lupus patient myself when I am really stressed my flares are at its peak.Is there a way I can access this at a less price.
I am at the moment also conducting a research study on the quality of life of lupus patients through looking at different areas.
I've also noticed that people from African/Carribbean origin tend to not really express their perception of the disease Lupus and to me there are various reasons for this. Also most research studies always record low responses from these groups. The views of these people is very important as they are the most affected from studies (which I am beginning to have a different opinion to this findings).
Many thanks for this
